A Virtual Camino?

smj6

Siempre hay que ver el positivo
Time of past OR future Camino
Oct/Nov 2016 (Via Podensis/ Frances)
Oct 2018 (Via Francigena stage)
A friend, Pierre Angleys walked from Geneva to Santiago in 2005.
Ten years later, he is making another pilgrimage, this time a virtual - or armchair - camino. If this might be of interest to you, check out his website.
Buen camino

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Fascinating! It's an idea I have long had but sadly never put into play. I shall be in contact with your friend as I will be happy to share his journey on www.thisisspain.info each day

Thanks for the info

O, la vache! Suzanne, there seems no way of making contact through his site! Are you in contact? Please either give me his contact details or ask him to contact me via www.ThisIsSpain.info

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
His contact details are at the bottom of his webpage: pilgrim@pxangleys.com.
If this doesn't work, let me know.

@ThisIsSpain, I presume you are Steve? If so, then I would like to thank you for raising awareness, through your UK bike ride, for the UN Refugee Agency where I have worked for the past 22 years (presently on assignment in Pakistan). Support such as this from the public, for our work, is always much appreciated.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

@ThisIsSpain, in this social interconnecting world we now live in, nothing can not be found!! In fact, I went on to your website (mentioned above) and saw that the owner of this website was called Steve - so I took an educated guess that it was you!, and that he'd "...cycled around the United Kingdom to raise awareness for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees..."! Just one wee comment, there's an 'er' on the end of Commission. Unlike - for instance, British High Commission - UNHCR is a UN Programme run by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
I don't know about the Limbo Embassy in Amsterdam, but probably our European Bureau does.
Regards
Suzanne

OK, thanks for tidying. Yes, Steve Hall - guilty as charged! In 6 years nobody had pointed out the "er"

This was it. I started 5 years ago today, this very day! www.theshirt2010.co.uk

I'd like to do it all again but my health is telling me that I would be a liability to myself and others. Next year? 5000 kms through Norway?
