I didn't see it on the list of favorite albergues (great thread, by the way!), so I want to ask if anyone has recently stayed at the albergue of Maribel Roncal in Cizur Menor, just after Pamplona. I heard about this albergue on my first walk, in 2005, but not since.

Any current info? Is it even open? Recommended?

Thanks all. I leave in ELEVEN DAYS to return to the Camino Frances...yippee!!!!

Hello Nancy,

Every year for the past 6 I have stayed at the Albergue Roncal. It is still the same and very relaxed. Now wifi is installed and Maribel has a web site. http://www.elalberguedemaribel.com/ Return with pleasure.

Buen Camino !

I don’t recall much about my Camino 3 years ago - but I recall this place was excellent. Gardens, beds, all good. Skip Pamplona and def stay there.
