hi all we will be leaving from Irun on July 25 and walking the north route to Santiago are there many ATM banks along the way
Also we are arriving in irun around 8 pm is the albergue there still open at that time
Also how crowded the albergue are now if anyone is walking right now buen Camino all

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I'm in Bilbao tonight after a rough day 6. We have had a bit of a bed race on previous nights but unfortunately/fortunately a large percentage seem to drop off at Bilbao. We'll have to see what tomorrow is like to knos if newbies have replaced those who have left us.
Most guide books have the same separation of Etappes through to Gernika (day 5) and then the variation starts. My guide gets me to SdC in 29 days, the Spanish version is 4 days longer.

Albergues are open till 22h normally, but there is no guarantee that you'll get a bed at that time. The night in Irun though is less full than San Seb so you might be ok.

ATMs haven't been an issue so far. My rec would be to hude an extra 50€ in your pack somewgere should there happen to be 2 days together wherd you can't get to an ATM. This is rare though.

Buen Camino!!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I hid the extra 50€ in small bills - as it was hard to break large bills at some of the smaller towns.
