How would you deal with trips with babies in cold weather?

Could you please elaborate?
How old is baby?
What type of coldness?
Posting here I guess you refer to a Camino but which one?
Advice is different when talking for instance about the Norte or the Frances.

Remember that if the baby is not walking he/she will get much more cold than the one who is carrying/pushing him. Watch they keep their hats and gloves and socks and boots on.
