Started late and having no luck finding a bed, any hints out there

I'd take a look at your guide, app or Gronze and see if you can find a bed further on - e.g. Borce or Urdos. If no bus running (Sunday) ... you may be able to get a taxi.

Found one a little off the track but promising. Thanks for help.

In Osse? I should have thought of that. Are you continuing on to the Aragones? It’s a wonderful path.

In Osse, yes. Only two here at this gîte so far.
I am doing the Aragones indeed. Others have also said it is a lovely walk and I have long wanted to see CanFranc station for myself (not just on TV with Michael Portillo )
