I'm looking to share a taxi from belorado to burgos on sept 7. Let me know

There is a bus, too, that leaves several times per day. Jimenez bus line. Less than 4 euros per seat.

The bus stop is across the busy street from the Hotel Jacobeo. You can't miss it.

Yes the bud is cheap option can buy a ticket from the driver with cash

Buses in Spain don’t always go where we want them to but they do always go somewhere. Try searching San Juan de Ortega to Atapuerca and then Atapuerca to Burgos

I strongly recommend app called Rome to Rio for update all transportation re: ways to get to places. It’s free!

I strongly disagree with you. Rome2rio was an excellent resource until it was acquired by OMIO. It is now a sad shadow of its previous iteration. Godgle Maps is now much more reliable as Godgle doesn’t need to sell you a ticket to enhance its obscene revenues

No, the bus does not go thru San Juan de Ortega - it stays on the N-120 hiway after Villafranca Montes de Oca.
