  • I had a most soothing night in Granon on October 14, which soothed a lot of pain I was carrying. I did not finish yet the Camino (got only till Boadilla since I had to be back at work) but will finish in 2019. I then would love to volunteer at Granon, and wondered how one does that. Thankx!
I haven't quite figured out this forum yet, and can't find our full conversation. I believe you mentioned Orisson on 23 May. My plans have flexed a bit and have an email request to them for that date. If they are full I'll just have to get all the way from SJPP to Roncesvalles on the 23rd.
Hi from Texas. "Older" than what? I'm 73 and still young. This will be my first Camino. Also former military -- Vietnam vet. Hope to meet y'all along the Way.

I am 54 and my husband is 65. In Idaho that is "old" as most of the other back country hikers are much younger. Lots of rugged country here. It does not appear the Camino terrain will be quite that rough or have much altitude although It does appear to be hilly in some stretches. Hope we'll see you along the way.

Planning to walk the Camino Frances May 2016 with my husband, Phil. We are older, but experienced hikers from Idaho.
