Camino Frances Fall 2016
Hello everyone,

Reporting live from Trabadelo along the camino Frances. As the days are coming to a near end I have booked my flight out of Madrid and am now looking into how to get from Santiago to Madrid.

All the trains are fully booked (from my research), I rather not fly therefore bus sounds like my ideal option.

Has anyone ever booked with busbud?

Is there somewhere in Santiago I could print an E-ticket from?

Thanks as always family!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
You can also buy tickets from Alsa in a Correos office beside the Pilgrims office in Santiago. We did this a couple of days beforehand.

Great idea! I'll buy it once I get to Santiago and since I'm going to finisterre that will be a couple days prior. No way every bus to madrid will sell out on a Monday

No, I wouldn' t think so. There are several buses a day. We left Monday night at 9.30 pm. The ride took nine hours, I slept most of the time I think we bought the tickets on Saturday.

I checked 10 17 and 24 October 2016 for trains. There are none indicated to be 'completo' or full; there is lots of availability.

Use Santiago for departure and Madrid (Todas) for destination.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I too would advise checking again. I just took the train from Santiago to Madrid on Monday of this week and there were empty seats. It's a beautiful train ride to Madrid Charmatin

The train left Santiago at 3:15p and cost was around $67 dollars if I remember correctly. The train arrived in Madrid around 7:45p. Hope that helps

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Covers it well. Train station at Santiago is a lot closer too than the airport is; also won't be necessary to be there so early to check in for the train which brings the time travelling down a little.
Thank you for info
