Do I need to buy bus tickets from Pamplona to SJPdP ahead of time? Do the buses fill? We will travel April 28.

Personally I wouldn’t worry about getting tickets early in April.

I'm taking the bus on 4/25 and bought tickets, on line, in advance. There are only 3 buses a day during April from Pamplona to SJPP. Why take a chance?

We just took the 1430 bus today from Pamplona. There were only 8 of us on board but you better pack Dramamine.

I noticed a few minutes ago that the 60 bookable beds of the Roncesvalles albergue are all booked for Friday and Saturday 27+28 April 2018. No need to worry unduly as they have plenty of beds available that cannot be booked online. But it's an indicator for a busy weekend ... as it is each year.

Whoa! Thanks for the heads up on Roncesvalles. And we did get our bus tickets.
