Buses from Madrid to Compostela

HI,

Can anyone tell me anything about public buses from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela please. My sister wants to get to Santiago to meet us when we finish the Camino. It would be great to get details about time tables, duration, price (not important) etc. Many thanks

You can get the information on buses at http://www.alsa.es. There is a button for English in the upper right corner of the page. I just checked and the fare is about E39 and it takes 8-9 hours. As an alternative you could fly on Spanair - http://www.spanair.com - for about E 41 and it takes 1:10.
