Hi, I'm walking from Tui to Santiago in October, I fly into Santiago and need to get down to Tui. I plan to take the bus via Pontevrdra, just wondered if anyone had used these buses? are they reliable and easy to find?

Thanks
Tony

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

There are buses that leave Santiago around noon and late in the afternoon which stop at Valencia do Minho, Portugal across the old frontier from Tui, Spain. You can obtain more info at the SdC bus station and in this Forum thread. It is a good idea to book the bus at least a day in advance. Your national passport must be shown when you purchase the ticket.

Buen camino!

Currently there are three buses each day from Santiago to Vigo-Tuy-Valenca, 1000, 1200, and 1700. The trip is about 2 hours and the fare about 26E.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Many thanks for the information, can't wait to get started.
