Great Outdoors, Dublin 2, ask for specific advice, no obligation to purchase.

Base Camp on middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1 will advise also.

53 Degrees North in Blanchardstown has a huge selection that you can try on and the staff are very knowledgeable.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thanks Limerick or Galway the closet but have no problem travelling to Dublin to get the most suitable

If you cannot find what suits locally, you may care to contact bespoke makers.

One I have used over the years is zPacks of Florida, United States. (my only connection is as a customer). I was looking for very light weight gear, which is a forte. From their storyline, and in my experience, they have an interest in developing stuff that works for a wide variety of people

Their entry page is zpacks.com. If you cant see something that suits, send them an email.

And I am sure there are other makers, if you were to search.

Kia kaha (take care, be strong, get going)

River Deep in Galway and Venture Out in Ennis. The staff in Venture Out are hillwalkers and will be able to fit you for a rucksack or any other equipment you may need.
