Camino friend

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Both in the same 24 hours? The first looks like a fellow I remember meeting coming out of Logroño and the second looks like a fellow I met headed into Astorga. That's a long way to go in 24 hours! (Unless I am misremembering or the first has left his usual haunts.)

Well, number 2 is definitely David before Astorga. There was a festival in Hospital last night, maybe the other guy is attracted to fetes.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I was thinking that the other guy looked a lot like Marcelino Lobato Castrillo.

Either him or his twin brother. A very kindly man - met him in the park at Logrono. He was handing out biscuits, nuts and walking sticks.
Have seen lots of photos of him in bars along the way. He's been walking the Camino since the early 1970s.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Lovely to see David at Casa de los Dioses, Don. He has a true pilgrim heart.
Enjoy Rabanal if you decide to stop there.
Cheers from Oz -
