Hi, just wondering who is manning Cantina (La Casa de los Dioses) at the moment.

I was reminded of this special place by the recent threads on rock stacking. In February last year I stopped there for a long time and chatted with Luca, who was in residence. While I rested he moved stones, from the nearby fields, to fill the pot holes in the road.

At some point the police cruised by and talked to him. When they left he explained that they keep an eye out for him, check he’s OK, and ask if he’s encountered any “weirdos” recently. It keeps them in the loop about any “strangers” around, and their surveillance keeps him reasonably safe. He told me he gets a fair amount of “weirdos” passing through, who try to take up residence with him.
