Dear all!!

This will be my third Camino (leaving Barcelona mid-April), following the route to Zaragoza to Pamplona and then down the French route to Finisterre and then back to Santiago.

My question is what albergues are between Barcelona and Pamplona, and is there information on what is special? There are unfortunately as far as I can see, no guide books covering this route.

With best
Hans

Hi, Hansking
I am a big fan of the Camino Castellano-Aragonés (that's the subforum you have posted this question in), but I don't think it will take you where you want to go. This camino turns off from the Ruta del Ebro (which starts at the mouth of the Ebro on the Mediterranean) in Gallur, which is a two day walk north of Zaragoza, and from there gets you close to Burgos. If you are set on getting to Pamplona from Barcelona, you would more likely want to stay on the Camino Catalán from Barcelona, take the Huesca variant, and then wind up on the Aragonés, which will take you into Puente la Reina and then you can easily get to Pamplona.

I have walked both of these routes. On the Catalán from Barcelona to its merge with the Aragonés near Jaca, we slept in albergues a lot. Here is a list of accommodations from 2017 -- http://amicsdelspelegrins.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/servicios-cami-SJDLP.pdf.

I have blogs from both of those walks, they are linked to this post at the bottom. They may give you more info, but I am happy to help if you have questions I might be able to answer.
Buen camino, Laurie

Thank you Laurie

I am looking now !!!
