Did you meet Pedro in Finisterre?

Time of past OR future Camino
First one begins August 13 2017!
Hello
I was in Finisterre last September to end my Camino which started in SJPP.
I had the most interesting conversations with an older French man who walked the streets and promoted his art work in exchange for a few euros if you had it. He regaled me with stories from the Camino, from his life. He was a history revisionist of sorts and a visionary for the establishment of a world that is based on equality of all races and classes and genders. He has plans for how to do this and is on a quest to make it happen. He said there is a filmmaker who has been filming his travels and is making a documentary of him. He was most fascinating.
Did anyone else meet him or take the time to listen?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I also met a fascinating elder man in fisterra, May 2016, an artist with a big white beard walking the French camino back and forth for almost three years at that time. He was giving away postcards with his art, for a voluntary donation. No talks about societal changes, though. But perhaps the same? .. His mission was to keep walking the camino for the rest of his life but he looked rather healthy so it might take a decade of two I'll be looking for him when I walk from SJPdP to Fisterra in September/October.

Yes! That is Pedro! He was in Finisterre the week that I was anyway. He probably spoke of social activism because I was interested and like minded. Our conversations were extremely interesting. I wonder if others who see him can post on here so we can keep track of him. I really hope the documentary he spoke of will happen. I also just hope that he is alright.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
We also saw him at Finisterre in May last year. Had a little chat. He gave us a postcard and we gave him a donation. We thought he looked familiar and wondered if we'd seen him 3 years before somewhere along the walk.

Yes that is where I met him. In September. I had the impression he has been on this journey for years.

He was at the bus stop and yes I bought postcards which I kept as a beautiful memento. There was a crowd and I didn't speak long but I will be in Finesterra in June and will be very interested in talking to him. Thanks for the info.

Please post here after you see him and if you think of it, ask him when the documentary will be coming out.

He was there earlier this month with stories of some sculpture he’s done in Finisterre that some friends tried to find, to no avail. I don’t think he walks the Camino. I think he walks the streets of Finisterre and enjoys talking with pilgrims...and selling postcards!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Yes! I also remember that he spoke of this sculpture and I searched (loosely) to no avail. Someone else said they saw him years ago on the Camino walking and not in Finisterre. Perhaps he has a place he now calls home in Finisterre and doesn’t walk anymore.

I’ll watch for him when you m there in May

Indeed one of the many people who seem to live permanently from and on the Camino.

Met and saw him several times when I spent a few days in Finisterre, late April 2017

I met him today at the bus station. He is still hanging around Finesterre.
