Well I've gone and done it, flight booked to Almeria on the 10th April. so if any one has plans for about that time and would like some company please let me know. (if you look at Maggies blogg I'm that George)
I intend to start from Almeria on Tue 11th and walk to Santiago in about 52 days through Granada, Cordoba, Merida and then up the VdlP onto the Sanabres to SdeC.
I have walked a lot of this route in the past, but rewalking a camino is something I don't have a problem with!

I can vouch for @george.g as being great company. We walked together for eighteen days from Malaga to Mérida - a true gentleman pilgrim.

Hi Kanga.
I plan to arrive in Salamanca on or about Tue 16th May so you wll be well ahead of me!
Have a good time, are you planning the Torres after Salamanca? I was, up to recently, but time constraints prevent me this year, next year perhaps (probably)!!

PS. Lots of GPS tracks for the Mozarabe on openrunner.com.
I've also posted on the equipment~mobile phone and tablet section some info ref gps and ipad that may be of some use to us walker of routes less travelled.
