From Pamplona to SJPDP in winter?

This is a long shot, but I'm in Pamplona at the moment. I sort of wound up here, not knowing that it is very difficult to get to SJPDP this time of year from here. Is anyone else in the same boat? Or does anyone have a suggestion on how to get SJPDP. I'm tempted to hitchhike, but I am also considering starting in Pamplona.

Just start in Pamplona, not much fun doing the Pyrenees this time of the year - you would have to walk mainly the road. If you insist you could start in Roncesvalles ... Buen Camino! SY
