Help! Luggage from Porto to Redondela

Hi all,

Hope you can help. We are flying into Porto and out of Santiago in June. As we only have 5 days we will walk from Vigo to Santiago. We plan on getting a bus from Porto to Vigo and walk to Redondela from there.

Problem is I can't find a company who will bring our bags from Porto directly to Redondela in the same day. Most are quoting for delivery after 2 or 4 days which isn't very helpful.

Is anyone aware of a company who will do luggage transfer from Porto to Redondela in one day?

Hola - have you spoken to Tuitrans? If so abd they can't do it ask them if they can recommend or know of a general carrier who would do this. I fear that will be expensive but I'm afraid if Tuitrans can't do it there is no viable solution.

I found Santiago Backpackers Express to be fantastic and so obliging. They are online and go up and down from Porto to Santiago all the time. I just did 14 days on the coastal route, so I did Vigo to Redondela, etc. If you have time check out the Islas Cies off Vigo or Baione, a Fabulous nature island and national park.

I used Tuitrans a year ago and they were efficient and reasonably priced.

Hi all,

Thanks very much for your responses and recommendations!! I did contact Tuitrans but they said they will need 4 days to deliver the bags between Porto and Redondela!?! I can use them for the other stages of the walk but I'm stuck for Porto to Redondela. I will try the Backpacker Express - thanks! Any other ideas would be much appreciated.

Try a carrier like Seur if all else fails.
