Hostel in Bayonne or Biarritz?

Hello All,

I will arrive in Biarritz in the early eve of April 9th, and will have to stay there or in Bayonne to wait for the first train the next morning to SJPDP. I think I would prefer to spend the night in Bayonne, but really it doesn't matter. Does anyone know of a hostel or other pilgrim friendly place to stay for the night?

I can happily recommend the pilgrim friendly Hotel Paris Madrid, next to the railway station in Bayonne. The bus from Biarritz Airport will take you almost to the door.

I'll second that recommendation. Last year when they airline lost my luggage they called Air France and demanded that the luggage be delivered to the hotel as soon as it arrived rather than me having to wait for their regular delivery time. Because of that I was able to get the early train to SJPdP and stay on schedule.
