Well i did it in 8 days after 3 days on San Salvador so it all depends on how long days you want and how fit you are. I would say that 11 is enough time.
Yes I walked all the way to Santiago. I have a thread in the Primitivo forum with my stages. Thanks Beatrice. That was all the way to Santiago, right? (Many just give the walking time to Melide and the junction with the French route)

We are planning 15 and I put together a " guide" which I shared in the resources section. I actually thing the eroski site has the most up to date info on the primitive.
Hi Beatrice - looking to go from Oviedo to Santiago in no more than 12 days, you have so much Camino experience and for what I can read you have done that trajectory in less than 12 days through the Primitivo route. I tried to look at your forums but you have so many and I really don't understand how it all works, can you please share the exact places and if possible distances day by day from Oviedo to Santiago? your help would be extremely appreciated, thank you!Well i did it in 8 days after 3 days on San Salvador so it all depends on how long days you want and how fit you are. Hi, My husband and I did the Primitivo this past May in 14 days. You can see where we stopped and get an idea from my blog.Hi Pat, after replying to Beatrice, I see that you just did el Camino Primitivo from Oviedo to Santiago, how was it? can you please share your exact day by day places you stopped and distances? this would really help me plan my trip I am doing next Spring - thank you in advance for your kindness - Juan
My stages are here for Primitivo (did San Salvador in 3 days to get to Oviedo first) https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/my-stages-on-the-camino-primitivo-8-days.28549/ but as some has pointed out I’m a endurance walker long and fast. My stages will not fit if you are looking into 12 days. Well I'm planning 16 days for the primitivo, after 7 days on El SalvadorMy stages are here for Primitivo (did San Salvador in 3 days to get to Oviedo first) https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/my-stages-on-the-camino-primitivo-8-days.28549/ but as some has pointed out I’m a endurance walker long and fast. No. This is only as far as Melide, you have to add another two days to get to SdC (according to Gronze). So 13 days is the correct answer. The standard maps show 11 days. Here is one:

Yes - I walked it in 8 days in Oct 2019 when I was 65. But I had walked most of the Olvidado and the Salvador beforehand.I know it is best not to rush the camino, but I have a limited time off work and I want to do the Primitivo. Can I walk from Oviedo to Santiago in 11 days? I have reasonably good fitness. I will be starting the walk on 8th September. Thanks!
