How Was It in May and June?

Time of past OR future Camino
2012 and possibly again in 2018
Hi All:

Just wondering how crowded the CF was in May and June, 2011. I'll be taking 5 weeks in 2012 -- last week in May and all of June -- and am curious as to how hard it will likely be to find a bed and a good night's sleep. I'm going no matter what, but some of the posts I've read on this forum have me wondering, and just a bit concerned.

Thanks for any info.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
I left SJPP end of May, walked through June and the first few days of July 2008- never had any problems anywhere getting a bed. Tended to stay in some of the smaller places- that didn't necessarily coincide with a guide book, and I think that can help with getting a bed too.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I have no doubt you'll be fine during this time. I've walked both the Frances and the Norte during mid-June to mid-July (SJPdP-Finisterre). Let's say 60 days between the two. The ONE time I came to a place without room (2010 Holy Year), two "Camino Angels" agreed to share a bed so I wouldn't be left out in the paddock. The Camino provides. You'll be fine.

Keep a smile!
