Fresh fruit and vegetables in May/June on the CF?

Will there be much local fresh fruit along the CF in May/June? Obviously too early for grapes and apples, but what about other fruit? Strawberries are usually ready early in the season. Are they a thing along the CF? I think I've seen watermelon in some photos. Would they be available this early?

And this fresh squeezed orange juice that I've been dreaming about, is that available year round? In Canada oranges are in season in the winter, but imported from places like Florida. They are available year round here, but the quality is best in the winter. How about along the CF? When do the local oranges ripen?

And finally, I've read lots of comments from people saying that fresh vegetables are lacking in pilgrim menus. I think lettuce/tomato salads are pretty common. Any other common local fresh (ie not cooked) vegetables available in restaurants/markets at this time of year? I'm a big fan of tomatoes, and hoping that part of Spain is good for growing tasty tomatoes, but I might be a bit early for outdoor ones.

I've obviously had all my big questions answered over the past few months, and now I'm getting into the minutia... :)

But eat in a place where locals eat, from a menu del dia? Ahhh. That's a different universe.

One local veggie in Galicia that I can never get enough of are pimentos de padron. Yum yum.
Get them as a stand-alone tapas...

And grelos, a Brassica used lots of ways, especially in soup.

I've seen the pimientos de padron in lots of photos and videos. Very much looking forward to trying it!

Wow, much more fruit available this early than I expected!
 
Strawberries were the highlight of my stay in Astorga. Freshly picked, beautifully sweet and very cheap. Half a kilo for €2.

At several towns I walked through strawberry fields as I entered.
 
At the end of our first Camino, cherries were everywhere! I think that was early June, from memory. And of course we'd walked past the beautiful blossoms earlier in the life cycle. I remember people selling paper cones of glorious cherries beside the path.
