Last 100km of Camino Portugues - how sociable for a solo traveller?!

Time of past OR future Camino
May 2015
Hello! I'm deliberating about whether to do the last 100km of Camino Portugues from Tui or whether to do a 100km section of the Camino Frances instead. I'm flying into Santiago so can do either. Have heard the Camino Portugues is a lot more scenic and less travelled but as a solo female traveller I don't want to be walking alone either. Would like a balance between reflection time & social chats! How busy is it likely to be around end of May 2015? Thanks in advance!!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I did not find it more scenic. There will be other pilgrims, but virtually all of them are part of their own group. They are sociable, but less than the Camino Frances. Ourense to Santiago has more solo pilgrims, and I found it more scenic.

Can't give any advise about your choices - but my solo-female-traveler experience quite enjoyed the PILGRIMAGE from Tui to SdC. a good mix between alone time and socializing when/if i chose to join.
i have noticed other pilgrims too - and not everyone was a part of a group. i never was. i enjoyed keeping my own pace, and pause when i fancied it.
and the landscape/scenery certainly was a delight ... very lush and green (which comes of course from plentyyyy of rain)
hope that you'll enjoy your pilgrimage whichever route you'll end up on.
buen camino!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I walked solo late May/early June last year. I met up with the same group of people in the evenings, but pretty much walked by myself during the days. You can find the social chats if/when you want them, but there is plenty of opportunity for reflection, too.
