Many albergues and small hotels have either laundry facilities, or even better, a laundry service were they will wash/dry/fold a load for very reasonable fee. Very nice after a long day to not have to do laundry.
 
We saw some laundries at the coastal caminho last week. Sometimes in the villages. Once at the poussada de Juventude youth inn-greart place to stay- in Vila Nova de Cerveira on the way from Caminha to Valença do Minho.

The Last Stamp has a washer and dryer, so the new laundromat with just three machines is not a great benefit for pilgrims staying there. However, San Martin Pinario does not have machines, so the new laundromat is the closest for pilgrims staying there!!

If an albergue does not have laundry facilities, they will e able to direct you. Most washing is usually done in a sink as it is very low volume, a pair of socks, undies and a tshirt. Pants when needed, 2,3 maybe 4 days, depending on when they need it. Heavier stuff like fleece take a few minutes but all in all most laundry takes less than 10 minutes to wash ans no more than an hour or two on a line outside to dry.
