Le Puy Guidebook

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The standard route description from Le Puy in English is

The Way of St James: le Puy to the Pyrenees
Alison Raju. Cicerone, Milnthorpe, 2010. 216 pp.
New 2010 edition of the author's well-known pilgrim's guide to the route from le Puy to Santiago

which is available from AmazonUS or AmazonUK or from the CSJ bookshop http://www.csj.org.uk/acatalog/The_CSJ_Bookshop_Pilgrim_Guides_7.html

Amazon also has this available as an e-book. So I carried it on my Kindle for the last walk. This has some disadvantages (lack of accessibility when you have to pull it out of the pack to check an intersection) as well as weight-saving advantages. Your choice!

Just ordered this guidebook, have to start reading and planning in order to make my mind up, don't we all love to spend our time doing just that?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Thanks for the recommendation. I look forward to reading it, and yes, then deciding if that is will be my next route. Buen Camino.
