Has anyone used the Ryanair option to get to Stanstead from London? I'll be staying near Highbury/Islington tube station and notice on the ryanair web site you can put in a time and apprently there is always a bus at that time! But where do they leave from, are they reliable, are they better than the train???

Dear Omar,

I have lifted this straight from the Ryanair site:
London Stansted is located approximately 40 Km from the city of London. There is a train service located underneath the terminal building; journey time is approximately to 45 minutes to the city; cost is approximately £25 return. There is a bus service from outside the terminal building operated by Terravision; cost is £8 - £14 either to London Liverpool Street or Victoria Station.

Cheers

thanks Rose Louise but it's the other direction I was asking about-from London. I caught the train this year from Stanstead,it is normally about 14 pounds but ryanair sell tickets on the flight for 10 pound. Their site doesn't say where the buses leave from, which is what I was curious about and whether anyone used them in preference to the train.

Ryanair buses are leaving from their doorstep- just outside the arrivals (or from above the train station). Reclaim your baggage and go straight ahead using closest door to the outside bus stop. There should be few members of staff waiting to assist you.
Safe journey.
