I have just read an article describing the creation of a new albergue in Igualada. The projected opening is to take place in 2022. This will be of interest to pilgrims planning to walk the Camino Ignaciano as well as those walking the Catalan Camino as it will accommodate considerably more pilgrims than the current pilgrims' albergue in the city of Igualada.
