New albergue in San Clemente

The lovely town of San Clemente has announced plans to open an albergue in the house formerly inhabited by the school teachers. http://www.vieiragrino.com/noticias/noticia.asp?id=89

I'm telling you guys, this camino is going to take off -- get out there before it is overrun!

It is a very nice town, and the private hostales or pensiones give special prices to pilgrims too.

do you remember if the Spanish Guide still has the bizarre description (in enormous writing) saying that San Clemente did not welcome pilgrims? I had to cover that bit up when I was asking people for directions to the Hostal. I may add that I had a wonderful time in San Clemente, being ushered into a wedding reception
