Just to advise that the albergue in Villacañas: Acogida en la Parroquia de la Asunción: (Donativo). C/ San Roque, 51. Llamad al 644 954 074 is not an albergue for peregrinos.
It is on the vieiragrino.com website and peregrinos can stay there, but it is a hostel for homeless. I showed up there and decided that to give up my option of a bed to a street sleeper who probably needed it more. Locals have said there have been a few problems at this place with Guardia Civil being called.
