Pamplona - SJPdP on 20th March - any suitable connection?

Hello everyone! I'll come to Pamplona on 20th March in the nite and was wondering whether is possible to get to SJPdP just by hitchhiking - is there any road for cars going directly to SJPdP? Many thanks for any advice! Greetings, J.

Hello! Many thanks for your advice .) However the system doesn't want to accept the final destination as St Jean PdP somehow.... dunno why :/ Will try more times. THANK YOU! And for hitchhiking - do you think it's possible or you wouldn't recommend it?

Make sure you choose INTERNATIONAL trip!

I think the website at your post is showing information for last year.

Conda website refers to ALSA schedule.

At this date the ALSA schedule shows one bus per day Pamplona to SJPdP 1730 17 March to 30 Sept 2014. Price is 20 euro.

Thank you! Time sounds good to me. This should be easily resolved at the time one arrives at Pamplona bus station the day before (or early the same day; don't know what time my bus from Barcelona will arrive. Not important, really; just a day extra ).

The ALSA website doesn't usually show updated schedules more than a month in advance. Last year (2013) there were at times 3 buses daily as per your website reference. Check the ALSA website again closer to your travel date.

There is a road from Pamplona to SJPdP via Roncesvalles and Valcarlos. N135/D933.

Good choice Alex! I stayed there last October on the way down from Roncesvalles. Comfy twin bedded rooms and GREAT food with a Hungarian touch. You will enjoy it.

Indeed! They have pickup service from the train/bus station in Pamplona, and a quick drive to SJPdP the next morning: Just getting the credential and start walking. Looking forward to the dinner you described!
