Hello!!

This summer I will walk from the Netherlands to Spain. At the moment I'm trying to think of the route that I want to walk from Belgium to Spain. I know that I want to do the Vezelay Route and I want to go from Paris to Vezelay.
I was wondering if anybody knows if this route has a certrain name, if it's save, how the marking is in and around Paris and any advice is welcome!

Thanks!!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

What a wonderful journey you are planning!
To begin your research here is a good guidebook in French describing the walk from Paris to Vezelay and further.

In late autumn 2008 I walked from our farm located on the Marne over the hills to Vezelay. Although I intended to continue on to SJPdP and Spain my knees did not !
You can read more about that truncates walk in http://allmycaminos.blogspot.fr/2013/07/fourtest.html

Happy planning and Bon chemin!

Thank you for your quick response! Unfortunatly I don't speak French, so it's gonna be hard to use that book, But does this mean that the route is called Le Puy Route?
Thanks a lot!!

The route described in the above Lepère guide is the Paris TO Le Puy route.

Generally the Le Puy route is that from Le Puy TO the Spanish border. See more info in https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/forums/the-le-puy-route.50/

For more info in French re Vezelay to Spain see also this important resource http://www.paris-vezelay-compostelle.org/
