I'm not sure what everyone does with their stamped passport but I have a need to touch it from time to time! The fact that it has stamps on both sides presents a bit of a problem. Does anyone know if anyone manufactures an acrylic photo holder? Great industry for Santiago!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
A friend of mine displayed her Japanese temple book (similar problem) on an end table, lying flat, with a piece of beveled glass on top. The book was protected, and every so often she would flip it over to change the display.

Framing Credential | Camino de Santiago Forum

This is a solution that might suit you, not cheap when you get the frame paid for but for the long term use maybe worth considering. Scroll down to Mr BWE's posting to see how he overcame the challenge.

The thought that comes to mind is to have your credencial custom-framed with glass on both sides. My wife did this with a piece of original art she wanted to display so one could easily see what was on the back of the item. While not cheap, it is the way to accomplish what you appear to be seeking.

We were afraid that the sellos could fade so colour photocopied ours and then kept the originals in an envelope to keep them away from the light. I think if ours were framed etc I would keep them in a protective wrap, unless there is some special glass around to stop fading. Anyone know?

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
