I woke up today, the Feast of Saint James informed about the train crash in Santiago de Compostela. I am offering my Masses for the next 9 days for the repose of the souls of those who have died, healing for those who were injured, comfort for those who have lost a dear one, safety for all travelers, calm amidst the pain and sadness and peace for all of us!

I believe for us who have done the Camino de Santiago, we will always have a loving and an eternal bond with Santiago de Compostela. We are affected and are grieved by this tragedy as we know SDC as a place of joy, of reunions, of friendship and of happy memories. Today we pause in remembrance of the moments we had there as pilgrims and say a prayer for who have died that they may find the lasting peace that we all hope for and comfort to those have lost a loved one.

May all the dead through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Peace,
Manny D.
