Love the beard conversation! One of my favorites from this year's camino -- we stayed in, shall we say, very "basic" accommodation one day on the Camino Catalan. When I asked LT whether she was going to wash her clothes, she said: "No, I don't think so because the sink is dirtier than my clothes."

Love this very simple quote I saw on the back door in and Albergue I stayed in Villambistia: "El turista exige, peregrino agradece." ... "The tourist demands, the pilgrim gives thanks".
