Santiago 'City Walk' Self-Guided Tour

Hi everyone,

I've completed the 'city walk' tour guide of Santiago that I've been working on. It's currently available in ePub and PDF formats. It has maps, detailed walking directions, and information on the sights and attractions.

I've created a resource for it in the Resources section.

Feedback and suggestions on improvements would be highly appreciated.

Buen Camino!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
It would be churlish of us not to plan another trip to Santiago to try it out, would it not?

Actually, that was my exact idea -- everyone on the forum should plan a new trip to Santiago just to try out my guide! And, of course, while you're there you might as well do another Camino...

Admit it, all you really need is a good excuse, right? LOL

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I'd better come clean Stratophile. I don't actually need an excuse;-) I just popped my hubby on a place to Oz yesterday with a letter (I always give him a little book or letter or something that I have made for him to read on the plane when he has to travel for work - the last one was about the fundraising walk that we ended up doing last year!). This letter had a proposal to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversay (in June of this year!) by walking the Camino de Madrid. There would not have been time to get to Santiago so I'd have to come back to do you a favour another time! HOWEVER< I also sent a second envelope this time...and in it I suggested that in lieu of taking the trip (that everyone knows I'd love to do and that hubby would like to do next year), that we donate the money to an enterprise we support in Laos that is about to build an education resource centre.
No response yet other than "you crazy chook"

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I love the little envelopes idea! Let us know how 'hubby' responds to those proposals. Both clearly have merits!
