Santiago de Compostela to A Guarda

We start walking on Nov 24 from A Guarda, but we have to get there first from SdC. Has anyone done this? I have seen a bus schedule but I cannot understand it. Is the tourist office in SdC in the building as the Pilgrims' Office? Thanks in advance.

We took Flight to Porto and from Aeropuerto we got a buss to Vila Nova de Cerveira and from there we walked to A Guarda (about 14 km). You can also take a buss from Vila Nova de Cerveira to A Guarda.
