Dear All
I would appreciate any assistance ..we plan to leave Santiago on the 2 of july going back to Basel Suisse... what could be the cheapest way ..train or bus.. which company.. any suggestions

Hi Dany,

My first thought would be to try and get on a flight with Air Berlin as close as you can to Basel, then bus/train from there to Basel:

Alternatively do the same with RyanAir:

Bus or train from Santiago would be a looong trip and may not be cheaper:
Train (in Spain) http://www.renfe.es/ingles

Bus: http://www.alsa.es

Just some thoughts....

Vueling to Barcelona, then easyJet to Basel - and if the connections don't connect, there are worse places to spend the night than Barcelona
