I have been looking through the posts this week and today and am a bit perplexed. Today is June 5th, our Jewish holiday of Shavuot commemorating Moses and the presentation of our Torah on Mount Sinai and your Christian holiday of Pentecost/Whitsun commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and other disciples following the Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus Christ (Acts of the Apostles, chapter 2), and it marks the beginning of the Christian church's mission to the world. Meaning, without Shavuot/Pentecost/Whitsun Saint James would never have set out for Spain, would not have been returned by Mary Pillar, would have never had been martyred and you dear people would not be now walking he Camino. If a pilgrim did remember this day please bring your experience. Happy Shavuot/Pentecost/Whitsun!
