You have set a huge task from Pamplona to Roncesvalles the same day. Have you evaluated the terrain. I would read about this a bit more. Taking it easy over the Pyranees can save you a lot of physical issues in the early period of your trip...
The cyclist who hit me had on a Camino shirt but this does not guarantee he was biking the Camino. Perhaps he was local but there is no way of knowing.
Everybody works together and you will see it flows. Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride. Ask questions of anyone and you will get help once you are en route.
Take the bus in Pamplona to St Jean. It is cheap and very nice. Get your ticket ahead of travel day. Bus goes one a day and can be full without advance ticket purchase.
I was celebrating my 85th on the Camino until a biker knocked me down on the trail and I had to return to US for treatment. Good luck. It is fabulous. You will make a LOT of new friends. No need to go with anybody at all.

We all know there are a lot of bikers on the shared Camino path. I was knocked over in the town of Villatuerta and had to return immediately to the US for treatment after destroying my Camino on May 6.
