Hi All,

Im planning my walk in late Apr/ early May and will only have about 13 days' walking (that factors in at least one rest day).

I would like to start at SJPdeP and also do the final stretch from Sarria to Santiago.

I also don't want to plan for much more than 20k each day, just in case - would rather extra time at the end than feeling under pressure.

What are your suggestions for my route/ where to get the bus/ train to Sarria?

Thanks so much!

Jackie

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
One possibility is:

1) SJPdP to Roncesvalles - 25.1
2) Roncesvalles - Zubiri 21.8
3) Zubiri - Pamplona 20.7
4) Pamplona - Obanos 21.2
5) Obanos - Estella 24.4
6) Estella - Los Arcos 21.1
7) Los Arcos - Logroño 27.8

Take a bus to Sarria via Ponferrada and Lugo:

Logroño Lugo 02:15 10:00 7h 45min 35.38€ LMXJVSD
Logroño Lugo 16:00 01:55 9h 55min 35.38€ LMXJVSD

Then:

http://sarria.es/pdf/c_lugo.pdf

Then:
1) Sarria - Portomarín 22.5 22.5
2) Portomarín - Lestedo 20 42.5
3) Lestedo - Melide 19.4 61.9
4) Melide - Arzúa 14.3 76.2
5) Arzúa - O Pedrouzo (FR 500 m) 18.5 94.7
6) O Pedrouzo (FR 500 m) - Santiago de Compostela 20 114.7

Use one rest day for the bus ride.
