And this could be due to the strikes but when I look up on trainline.eu for Bayonne to St.JPdP on Aug. 30 they are all sold out (sncf)

On the oui.sncf site it shows availability.

Can anyone shed light on this?

If you have accommodation referrals, I'm all ears!

Thank you!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
There are no reservations on that route, so if there is a train, just get on. It can be crowded with people, packs, and bikes. You may end up standing, but they take everyone. When a bus is substituted, however, it may be first come, first serve until the seats are filled.

I just booked from Lourdes to Bayonne for the 28th. I normally use the SNCF site but was unable to book on this site and had to switch to the OuiSNCF site. It looks like they are just trying to get everyone to book by the new OuiSNCF site.

There is a hotel right near the train station called Hotel de la Gare. Perfect!

When we came through Bayonne on the 12/7 there were no trains, a bus service to SJPdP was laid on instead. Someone said it was due to maintenance on the line.....

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
