Starting the Camino alone ?

I have been fortunate to have been able to walk the camino Frances twice and the via de la plata . There is so much to gain from walking the camino that I would like to pass on this experience . I thought of taking a small group of pilgrims who may feel daunted at the prospect to go alone but together with an 'experienced' peregrina would tackle this challenge . I could take them and stay for a week or two until they felt confident to carry on with the new friends they will have made or carry on until we reach Santiago. I don't want to be paid , just enough to cover expenses and bed and board for a peregrino is not expensive !
I'm not sure how to go about this and anyone interested or with any advice , I would love to hear.

Hi
I do this anyway, but not for money.sometimes I fund there camino in part or in full with kit or other wise for people who need space time and support.

some times its just moral support

I have met private guides who do exactly what your want to do ...and they have set themselves up by advertising , approaching organized companies who do this is another way. if you decide to d o this for a income

I wish you luck and sure you can make this happen

you say you don't want to get paid just expenses ......pleasure reading this

Respect to you
Take care

There are a few members on this forum who organise camino walks, and can probably give you some advise. For many years I owned, organised and led The Mozambique Beach Hike, an 8 day adventure along the Mozambican coastline, popular with South African hikers who wanted to experience Mozambique, but afraid to go alone. (Politics, war and African economics have closed it down, hopefully temporarily.) What I learnt over those years was ALWAYS to have Plan B. Probably a lot easier to do in Europe than in Africa, but people are paying you to do this (even if it’s just to cover your costs), so when things go wrong, go wrong, go wrong, you are obliged to put things right. Secondly, have good public liability insurance, in case someone decides to sue you for . . . . whatever. Thirdly, make sure you are legal; for example one has to be a registered, qualified tour guide to take paying clients around and about in South Africa (I have no idea what the laws are in Spain). And finally, STAY CHILLED, the most important advise of all that I received when starting out! All the Best. Jill
