Good Day All,
We are a group of 7 starting in Sarria and walking to SdC at the end of September. Can someone please advise if there are any Taxi's running between Sarria and SdC. ( if one needs one to get to the town where we will sleep that evening).
Thank you in advance.

You will find plenty of advertisments/leaflets for taxi services along the way or in albergues/bars/cafes so dont be worried about that. Moreover, there will be a crowd of people and someone will deffo have a number. Let it just flow...

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Just remember that if you want the Compostela you need to have walked the last 100 km. Just take plenty of breaks, drink enough water and go at the speed of the slowest walker...

Thank you Heidi, one person in the group asked in case of an emergency.

I would ask every day the hospitilier/receptionist/landlord or lady where you are staying for the number of a local trustworthy soul with a taxi and take it with you. Any Tom Dick or Harriet can put a note on a bulletin board.

Stand next to any street lamp between Sarria and Santiago and look towards heaven. There’s a 50% chance you’ll see a local taxi number sticker. If not, walk to the next street lamp.

Some say that ‘The Camino will provide’, but in the matter of private-hire transport the market got there first.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
