I plan to start in Roncevalles and I can get to Garralda (~10 km from Roncevalles) via bus from Pamplona. The bus arrives in Garralda around 1600h, a little late for me to start to walk to Roncevalles. Does anyone have experience getting a taxi from Garralda to Roncevalles late in the day? Will it be difficult to find one? Thanks so much for your info.

There are two buses a day direct from Pamplona to Roncesvalles: https://www.autocaresartieda.com/pdf/RONCESVALLES-VERANO-2023-HORARIOS.pdf which might better suit your needs.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Rome2Rio isn't as good as it once was. A cynic might suggest that they won't show a route that OMIO can't sell you a ticket for. I was fairly certain that route was still operated and and putting Pamplona - Roncesvalles into GoogleMaps and clicking the Transport filter confirmed it
