Hi everyone .... yet again I've been inundated with wonderful messages of support and friendship and I haven't even met any one of you ... yet. I was feeling very brave 9 months ago when I decided to walk the Camino and now that September is looming I'm not so cocky. I've asked a lot of questions on this forum (some really silly ones looking back), and have never had a negative response ... always kind, positive and encouraging. On behalf of the new people planning to walk their first Camino, just wanted to say thanks. Your words of wisdom are invaluable and us newbies are really fortunate to have such great listeners. God bless xx Trish

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
This is a pleasant post to read, Trish. The kindness you (we all) have received here is much the same on the Camino. Sure there are those we would rather not spend time with just like there are threads here which have a disagreeable tone. On the Camino, we can simply move to another table, walk a little "off stage", maybe try to understand what we don't. We can also surround ourselves with those who help elevate our spirit or move along in our own solitude which could bring the same fulfillment.

There is no doubt many will think the same of you as you prepare, while you are walking, and after you return.

Keep a smile,
Simeon

Hi Trish, this time last year I was also a newbie and the wonderful veterans on this forum were a big help even planning a route for me from Biarritz to Pamplona and offering to meet me at the bus station if I wanted. Thats why I keep coming back to the forum, its a great place to be and of course I may need more help and advice when I set off again spring 2015, Buen Camino

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
What's within you is far greater than what stands in your way...

This forum made me braver and stronger as I left this time last year Trish. You are so right about the wonderful help we can all receive here. Good luck on your walk and buen camino!
