The madness

It was fairly quiet, if that is possible,until Friday when huge mobs started arriving and yesterday was worse. The queue outside the pilgrim office stretched around the corner as far as the fountain and was worth a photo, or so quite a lot of people thought.

Last night's fireworks were good, though no better than Sydney on New Year´s Eve - but I would say that, wouldn't I!

Too many people, too much noise. Wouldn't miss it for quids!
