This is a documentary film about the Camino de Santiago.
Three pilgrims. Brazilian girl in Summer. A Japanese girl in spring and a Dutch gentleman in Winter.
Appear important people in the road.
Doña Felisa before Logroño. Jesus Jato de Villafranca, Los hospitaleros the Little Potala Ruitelán.
The film is subtitled in Spanish.
The characters speak in their native language and in English.
It's a low budget film.
Buen Camino to Santiago.
Ultreya.

Interesting and moving film. It was obviously taken few years ago: some people have aged a bit (Antonio in Rabanal looks so much younger, Felisa's daughter took over and the dormitorio in Roncesvalles has improved in the mean time...)
Still, I like this picture better than The Way!

I could only understand the English parts. But it was a still a good watch.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
Within the Way Without (the title by the Haiku poet-pilgrim in the film) was a big hit when it was released in the 2004 Holy Year. When you buy the DVD from the CSJ in the UK, each copy is numbered and signed by Larry Boulting.

The three pilgrims were identified by the producer, Larry Boulting, on one of his earlier pilgrimages and it is obvious that he tried to keep their pilgrimages as authentic as possible.

This photograph was taken by a pilgrim who watched a scene being filmed on the route.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
My wife and I watch this on YouTube yesterday. We very much enjoy it, it seemed more real than the Hollywood film the Way. To all past, present and future pilgrims - take a few hours out of your life and watch this - very motivating.

Thank you for posting this.

I'm in the early stages of planning my 3rd camino for this summer and it was such a gift to be able to spend two and a half hours walking with these 3 pilgrims.

Does anyone know where the nuns were located? It's where they are told they have to be back by 10 pm and they stay out too late. I loved that scene. It looked to me like Santo Domingo or Logrono.
