Sorry Katia, way off piste there. Put it down to old age. Can't help with Pamplona as I stayed in the Jesus and Mary albergue.

I stayed in Pension Otano, which I recommend. It's in Brierley.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi Katia - I spent a night in Pamplona last September and stayed in the Hotel Eslava (booking.com). It was sort of quaint but very close to the old city where there are many lovely places to eat and wander. I was lucky enough to be there on a Saturday and in the late afternoon the streets turned into markets, childrens games and street theatre. I loved it! Hope this helps.

Hi Katia,
We stayed at the Hotel Europa in Pamplona in Sept 2011. It was just off the main square of Pamplona the Plaza del Castilla. It was a great place to stay and enjoy the city with the best Spanish Tapas "Bar El Gaucho" right next to it. Hotel Europa, Espoz Y Mina Kalea 11, Pamplona Ph +34 948 221 800. I am sure they have a website.
Hope this is helpful.

I stayed in the Marriot in Pamplona. Very nice. Not far from the Camino. Just start going West.

Katia,
more specific: the Marriots have are affiliated with the AC Hotels in Spain
the one in Pamplona is calle AC Hotel Ciudad de Pamplona; Iturrana 21; +34 (948)266 011

There is an AC Hotel in Burgos as well that is located about 50 yards from the main gate to the main plaza. Nice place. Stayed in both summer of 2012. they were my rest stops.

Hi, Katia,
Though you don't say what kind of place you are looking for, I have stayed many times in Hostal Bearan. http://www.hostalbearan.es Nothing fancy, just clean and basic, but it is in a great location, and the restaurante Basseri http://www.restaurantebaserri.com across the street is one of my favorite restaurants on the Camino Frances (go into the room behind the bar and have a delicious menu del dia at a very reasonable price).

If you want a fancier hotel, it's easy to find one in Pamplona, and I would suggest booking.com

Hi Katia, I stayed at Hostel Hemingway in Pamplona. It could be a nice start to the camino if you intend to stay in the albergues and hostals. Its clean, very pretty, and the people there are wonderfully helpful. If you book ahead, you'll get a single or double room, and the rest are lovely dorms with bunk-beds. Its close to some lovely restaurants and great shopping areas (not that you want to go and stack your back with more stuff!) Hostal Hemingway and the area has a lovely vibe. You can check it out below.

Thanks everyone!!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
