Time of past OR future Camino
Camino Frances (2000), and ruta del norte by bike (2004) - (Camino Mozarabe / Ruta del la Plata 2015???)
Hi
I'm planning to ride the Via de la Plata in 2015. Will use mountain bike without suspension, rear panniers & handle bar bag and would hope to ride a mixture of Camino trails and quiet roads.

Would like to start from Malaga, but may well choose to go from Seville to shorten the duration.

So has anyone ridden this route?
What is the terrain like?
How many days should a not so fit 50 year old allow?
Any general advice?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
If you have done the Ruta del Norte by bike then via de la plata would be a lot easier and flat until Galicia.
